In 2015, the Council asked Crest Nicholson to submit a Strategic Masterplan before making the planning applications, which have now been submitted.
This Masterplan is an illustration of the intended pattern of development in the East of Harry Stoke New Neighbourhood.
Far from being prescriptive, the Masterplan is made up of a number of different and overlapping strategies, including transport and highways, land use, open spaces, ecology and drainage. It is sufficiently flexible to respond to changing circumstances over the life of the development.
There have been a number of Council-led consultation exercises covering the New Neighbourhood over a number of years, in which Crest Nicholson has participated, and the responses from these exercises have contributed to this Masterplan.
The submitted applications provide more detail and build on the ideas in the adopted masterplan.
